7th Dango ( ' ' ) [Video/Action]

[Accidental Video (action for house 26)]
[Sooo house 26 may be in for a bit of a surprise today! Or well, Nagisa first, anyway. She's just cleaning up and organizing her room here and there in the early afternoon, only to find that some of her drawers are open, and some of her clothes are scattered along the floor. The strange occurrence becomes even stranger when she hears some shifting and thumping noises coming from inside her wardrobe. And when she opens it? She finds that her attire isn't the only thing in there. Instead, it's accompanied by a small and eager shiba inu, which leaps out of the dresser upon its opening, making Nagisa drop her journal onto the ground in surprise!

...whiiiich then starts recording a feed of the terribly confused Nagisa flailing around, trying to figure out why a dog just popped out of her dresser. Oh, did I mention it's wearing one of her (white) bras on its head? Yeah.

So have a video feed full of "eeeeeeh?!" "uwaaaaaah" and "BARLBARLBARL" "BARKBARKBARK"]

[Later on in the afternoon, Nagisa can be found walking about in the plaza, the very same dog from earlier following close behind. She's in search for dog food, along with any other necessary supplies for dog care, and she could use some help, maybe...! Especially considering how she (the poopy) seems to start periodically trying to beg her (the hooman) for some of the dango she's carrying in bag.

I bet you can't guess what name this pooch has been given.

[Leon tries to stifle his unease as the puppy sniffs at him; it's taken him quite awhile to get used to animals in general, but there was a special paranoia that dogs brought on for him. Not that he was scared of dogs... He just found himself wondering if they would harass him with the impression that he was a cat.]

Um, hi ... Dango. [He glances back up at Nagisa.] She doesn't bite, does she?

[You mean like Heisuke?

I mean.

Dango barks once when Leon greets her, then wags her tail excitedly. Nagisa shakes her head.] Not at all. She's really friendly, actually.

That's, uh, surprising. [Maybe. He didn't hang out with dogs all that often.] I thought dogs bit out of curiosity. For sensory information. [Notice how he doesn't reach out to pet the happy dog.]

[Doesn't mean Dango's going to stop looking up at Leon expectantly!]

A lot of dogs do, I think... but mostly if they're still really young or aren't trained.

[Stop making Leon feel guilty for not petting you, Dango...!]

So you think Dango's been trained? [It was a possibility... They had no idea where these animals came from, after all.]

[You should feel guilty. Just look at how cute its little face is.]

Maybe... I'm not really sure though, since I don't know where she came from. Some dogs are just naturally behaved like this as well though, I think.

That's pretty lucky. [Still peering at Dango. He hesitates, but then reaches out to pat the shiba inu on the head tentatively.] Uh ... good dog.

I guess it is, isn't it?

[And then she just watches as Leon goes to pet the pup, which then wags its tail and stretches its neck to get closer to Leon's hand.]

[Wagging tails are good things. Leon repeats that to himself as he continues patting Dango, slowly relaxing as he continues with the motion.]

Have you had a pet before?

[Yes good. Dango just continues nuzzling her head against Leon's head.

Meanwhile, Nagisa shakes her head.] I haven't actually. But I have a lot of neighbors who have dogs, so...

It couldn't hurt to look for some books in the library. Uh, just to fill in any holes your neighbors might miss.

Ohh, that's a good idea! I hadn't really thought of that. Some people with pets offered to give me advice, too. So I'm sure both of those will help a lot.

Yeah. I'm sure you'll do okay; I know there's at least one other dog like yours here in the village. [Since he was familiar with Koromaru, he can see the similarities.]

Mm, thank you! Do you mean Kuzohana though? Or Koromaru..?

Koromaru, the dog living with Minato. [Since, as he kinda recalls from that world-anchoring incident, Koro-chan wasn't really his dog.] Who's Kuzohana?

Oh! I know Koromaru. He's a really good dog, isn't he? As for Kuzohana though... he's Naoto's dog, if you happen to know her. He's a shiba inu as well.

Naoto? Yeah, I've met ... her? [He quirks a brow at that. Naoto was a girl?] Don't know her well, though.

Mm! I don't know her very well myself, but as far as I know, she's very nice! And her dog is really sweet too.

I guess the three of you can take your shiba inu on walks together or something. [He sounds a little awkward making the suggestion, seeing as he doesn't know much getting together with animals under any pretense other than looking around a zoo.]

I do think that would be a good idea! It'd be fun. [a beat] Hm... You can't take cats out on walks, can you...?

[fellpool]

I ... think that you can, but they're not going to really ... walk. [He laughs a little at his own explanation.] They'd probably make a huge fuss if you tried to put a leash on them.

It's a little different here, though. I was about to talk my cat into following me just fine. [But he wouldn't say he walks Lia around.]

I don't think I've ever seen a cat on a leash before, anyway... But um... in that case, if you could get her to just follow you.. maybe you can join us whenever we all go on a walk together!
