7th Dango ( ' ' ) [Video/Action]

[Accidental Video (action for house 26)]
[Sooo house 26 may be in for a bit of a surprise today! Or well, Nagisa first, anyway. She's just cleaning up and organizing her room here and there in the early afternoon, only to find that some of her drawers are open, and some of her clothes are scattered along the floor. The strange occurrence becomes even stranger when she hears some shifting and thumping noises coming from inside her wardrobe. And when she opens it? She finds that her attire isn't the only thing in there. Instead, it's accompanied by a small and eager shiba inu, which leaps out of the dresser upon its opening, making Nagisa drop her journal onto the ground in surprise!

...whiiiich then starts recording a feed of the terribly confused Nagisa flailing around, trying to figure out why a dog just popped out of her dresser. Oh, did I mention it's wearing one of her (white) bras on its head? Yeah.

So have a video feed full of "eeeeeeh?!" "uwaaaaaah" and ~~"BARLBARLBARL"~~ "BARKBARKBARK"]

[Later on in the afternoon, Nagisa can be found walking about in the plaza, the very same dog from earlier following close behind. She's in search for dog food, along with any other necessary supplies for dog care, and she could use some help, maybe...! Especially considering how she (the poopy) seems to start periodically trying to beg her (the hooman) for some of the dango she's carrying in bag.

I bet you can't guess what name this pooch has been given.

Spoilers: It rhymes with Pango.]

N-no, she's not mine.. I suddenly found her in there just now. I don't think I've seen her before, either.

[So she couldn't be Fuuko's or Kotomi's, right?]

So wait a second... She broke in?

[Whoa. Making a mental note not to mess with any Luceti dogs.]

That's a pretty talented dog.

Broke in...? [...Now she's just imagining a dog picking the lock of her house or breaking in through a window or something...]

A-ah... I'm not really sure about breaking in... though I'm not sure how else she could have gotten inside..

[He shrugs.]

Normally I'd say a dog couldn't break into somebody's house, but considerin' the weird stuff that goes on here, it's not too crazy.

You don't think somebody you lived with woulda' put her there as a joke or somethin', do ya?

[Maybe they set up the journal to turn on, too.]

Maybe... I don't think that's the case though...

[The dog sure seems ordinary enough. But this is Luceti, now that she thinks about it, so... who knows? It'll probably forever be a mystery, at this point.]

And I don't think neither Fuu-chan nor Kotomi-chan would do something like that... They both seemed very surprised to see the dog here in the first place, anyway.

So it just popped outta thin air, huh?

[He sighs; why does this place have to be so weird all the time?]

You gonna keep it?

Considering that this is Luceti, maybe... Though I'm not really sure. [a beat] But um.. I think we may be keeping her. The others seemed to really like her as well, so..

[He raises an eyebrow at the dog and the mess, chuckling.]

Good luck with that--she looks like trouble.

Have you guys picked out a name yet?

[The dog is proud of its work, okay.]

I'm sure it'll be fine! She's probably just excited since she was stuck in the dresser for at least some time... but thank you, Firo. [a beat] We decided to name her Dango!

Dango..? What kinda name-- I mean, uh... Is that a real name?

[Says the kid with a name his parents probably made up.]

For a person, I guess not, but... it seemed like a cute name for a dog! And she seems to be interested in the plush dangos I have in my room too. So I thought it was fitting.

[and also nagisa just really really really loves dangos...]

Mm... They're a type of dumpling that we have back where I'm from. They even have these really cute mascots that represent them too, and a song to go along with them.

They made a song for food? Why?

[It just gets worse.]

Because it's cute! [duh] Would you like to hear it?

Not sure if somethin' like that's "cute"... But sure, why not?

Okay! In that case... here I go! [deep breath... !!]

[Okay, that was kind of cute. At least, she seems pretty into it, so perhaps his skepticism was a bit rude.]

...I guess it's not such a bad song. You're a pretty good singer, you know that?

[Ahh, yay! Upon hearing that, she smiles widely.]

Really...? Thank you very much! It's my favorite song... but um... it's basically just a song about the mascots known as the Big Dango Family, in which there are a hundred members.

A hundred dumplings... I still don't really get why anybody'd make a song about 'em if they were just gonna eat 'em. It's almost sad when ya talk about 'em bein' a family, ya know?

...E-eh? Do you think so...? But... People don't eat the Big Dango Family! They only eat the real dangos..

I'm just sayin', it's like makin' a song and a mascot for soup or somethin'.

B-but... there are lots of songs and mascots for soups and other foods, aren't there...?

There are? I can't think of any where I come from.

[Maybe it was just a less cute time.]

Yep! I can't think of any songs off the top of my head, but.... I know there's something called the.. um... Pillsbury Doughboy in my world... [Or at least she thinks that's what he's called..?!] And he's a mascot for many different kinds of pastries.
