[Ever since Seto returned, Nagisa has been feeling rather down. ..Not because he's here, of course. She's happy he's here! What she isn't happy about, however, is what she had found out on that day though. Things that she just didn't remember from her childhood, which she's now aware of, and doesn't want to be. Or rather, she just wishes such a thing never happened, really. Like her getting sick as a child, which... isn't anything new for her, but the fact that she had nearly died once during one of those illnesses. And how because of that, her parents had to give up their jobs and dreams just so that they could take care of her.

...That's just not fair.

It's not fair that they had to give up on their goals just for her. It's... all her fault, really. And above all else, neither of her parents are here for her to talk to about this. She can't apologize or anything.]

[So after some thought, she decides to make a journal entry, asking something along those lines. She doesn't feel up to actually speaking aloud about this though. She'd just start crying, really. So instead, she writes it out.]

...Has anyone ever had to give up their own dreams for the sake of someone else?

[Moping around or not, food is kinda necessary in the house, so Nagisa can be found later around the plaza. First she'll go to the playground and sit around on the swings (though not.. actually swinging), and then she'll head on over to the grocery store and straight back home. She's a little out of it though, so she may just bump into someone. Oops.]

I would. If there was something important enough to me to decide that, I wouldn't have any regrets.

I'm not a nice person. But there are some things important enough to try for.

[She thinks you're very kind regardless..!] Um... what sorts of things do you think would be important enough, then..?

It's easy. It's my loved ones. I'd do anything for them to help them.

Exactly. I'm lucky in that, even if it's here, some of my friends from home are with me; and I've made new friends here, too.

Oh, I'm glad... It is very nice to be able to have friends from home with you here.

[She kinda wishes her parents were here though. That way she could at least know for certain whether they feel the same way Ami feels about this sort of thing..]

It is. However, things are different here. I'm a little bit older than them.

Is that because you came here before them...?

No; I came back here when I was already nineteen. They came here when they were fourteen.

Oohh... Like a later point in time..? [She remembers hearing people mention how some come from different er.. time points.]

That's right. It's a little strange, thinking about what to tell them about what's coming.

I could imagine that being strange... Have you told them about that yet..?

I've told them some things, and I've told them there are some things I don't know how to tell them yet. They said that's fine, but I'd really like the time to come when I could tell them everything.

I see... It's nice that they're letting you take your time on that, then. I haven't really talked to my friends from home about what points in time they came from.. [..it's a little scary to think about in a way, really.]

In that position, I'd be curious. However, I also understand it can be very difficult. You might learn something unpleasant.

Y-yes, that's what I'm worried about... More so for my friends than myself, though. I wouldn't want for them to hear about something that upsets them, after all.

It's the same for me; but if the time comes to tell them, I'll be sure to be there to help them, too.
