[There's some shuffling heard before Nagisa speaks up as she tries to set up the journal. Yeaaah she hasn't really been using this thing much lately, seeing as how she is still sick. But today she's actually feeling a little better! And well enough to go ahead and make a post that she's been wanting to make for some time now, regarding a wonderful get well card that Fuuko made for her and had other people sign. So she'll go ahead and do that!]

Hello! Umm... [Wow I just noticed all of her entries start like this...] I wasn't feeling well enough to do so earlier, but I'm feeling a little better today so... I wanted to thank those who signed Fuu-chan's get well card for me... Both those whom I do know, and those whom I don't but would like to! It made me really, really happy! I read them all a-and... yes, thank you all very much!

[There's a small pause for her to think for a moment before she continues.] There are sure a lot of lights outside, aren't there? I can see them from my window but... I really wish I could go outside and see them up close... B-but um, anyway.. Christmas is coming up, isn't it? And my birthday is actually the day right before it -- Christmas Eve -- so I wanted to also invite my friends to join Fuu-chan and Kotomi-chan for that! It'd make me very happy to see you all and um... I-I guess that's it! S-so thank you for listening! [she feels like such an awkward turtle right now.]

...O-oh, also... Those who are going on the draft... ...Please be careful, okay..?

[Fuuko might just be outside Nagisa's room as she makes the journal announcement. She waits for her to finish her message before letting herself in.]

Fuuko heard everything! It makes Fuuko feel very happy to know the card made you feel happy too Nagisa-san.

[Moving inside and taking a seat on your bed Nagisa. Now she can start planning what to get Nagisa for her birthday. Probably a dango plushie. :|]

[When Nagisa hears Fuuko come in, she gives her a biiiig smile and a nod.]

Yes! I loved it very, very much. Thank you, Fuu-chan! I hope you weren't outside in the cold for too long though..

Don't worry, Fuuko was only out there for a short while. Lots of people came pretty quickly so it only took a few minutes.

[Laying back on Nagisa's bed to look up at the ceiling. This is how she wants to spend her time before the draft, just spending it with a friend.]

Fuuko was talking with Draco-san about seeing if you might be okay to go outside sometime. Nothing too far, just downstairs to enjoy the snow a little.

Ahh that's good! I'm relieved to hear that.

[...Right, the draft. Oh the things Nagisa would do just to make sure that Fuuko didn't have to go. But unfortunately, she has no choice, does she? But... Nagisa will at least try to keep that out of her mind. This is supposed to be a happy moment! Right?]

That's a nice idea! I would really like to do that..

Maybe we could stand by the door and greet everyone when they come to visit you. That shouldn't be too difficult.

[Raising her hand and waving it a little as though to practice her greeting.]

And of course Kotomi-san would be with us too! If you needed to rest we could just take you back up to the apartment. Fuuko thinks this is a good plan!

[Nagisa laughs a bit at Fuuko's waving, then proceeds to try it out herself.]

Mm, that sounds like it'll be a lot of fun! When should we do it though? The day of the party when everyone comes or...?

That sounds like a good time, Fuuko was intending for it to be then anyway!

[Letting her hand drop and turning away to look across the room rather than at the cieling.]

It's a shame we can't do it any sooner. Maybe Fuuko could ask Kotomi-san to help you out these next few days instead.

Oh, that works out well then! I look forward to it.

[And once Fuuko puts her hand down, Nagisa will do the same and then follow her gaze. The tone in her voice drops a bit when she responds, but she still tries to sound as optimistic as she can for Fuuko.]

T-that's okay. At least this way, we have something we can do together when you get back. [Safely, she hopes.] And it'll be even more special that way... A-and I can work on getting even more better, so we won't have to just stay around the house.

That's true, it'll give Fuuko something fun to look forward to. Once Fuuko comes back we have to do it right away.

[Smiling down and turn her head back over to face Nagisa now. Sup gurl.]

Take as long as you need, Fuuko doesn't mind spending time in the house with you. Of course, Fuuko is sure Nagisa-san doesn't enjoy spending all of her time here too, but don't push yourself! The starfish would be worried if you only made yourself sick. And the dangos.

Yes, we'll make sure to do it right when you come back!

[Hay girlfraaaaaaaan.]

Don't worry about me, Fuu-chan. I'll be okay! And I'll try not to push myself, I promise.

Maybe not as soon as Fuuko returns, but soon enough so everyone who's coming will know the party is here!

[Nod nod.]

Good, it would be very horrible for you to suddenly get worse after all this time! Keep fighting on the road to recovery!!

Oh, right... But isn't that close to the time that you get back anyway? I-I'm not very sure...

[Since really all she did was look at the draft list, rather than listen to the announcement itself.]

Mhhhm, I will! I'll do my best to fight the sickness away!

It's close, but there are a few days in between the time Fuuko gets back and then.

[...Or at least she thinks there are a few days separating the two. She's actually trying to avoid going back to look at the draft information right now.]

Maybe Kotomi-san can believe in you like she believes in Fuuko, then you'll feel even more motivated.

Ahhh okay! At least then we won't have to wait too long for us to be able to do it, right?

[That's okay; Nagisa wouldn't really want for her to, anyway.]

That's okay. I think right now it's more important to allow for her to put all of that toward Fuu-chan so that it'll ensure that you'll be okay! And I'll be doing the same too.

That's right, it shouldn't be too much of a wait. Fuuko doesn't want to keep you waiting any longer than necessary!

[Good. Of course she'll have to look again at some point for her own safety. But until then, focusing on after the draft.]

Fuuko won't let anyone down. You see Nagisa-san, Fuuko has a plan. Stay back, cook and make sure everyone is safe.

Ahh but at the same time, I'd feel bad having you rush to not make me wait...

[..Where the logic is in this, I have no idea. Since it's not like she can rush in the draft anyway. But whatever. Details.]

That sounds like a good plan! What sorts of food are you going to make everyone though?

Don't worry, Fuuko won't be rushing! Rather, Fuuko will be working as hard and as safely as possible whilst still trying to be back before Nagisa-san has waited too long.

[LOGIC. WHAT ARE YOU.]

At first Fuuko considered making another starfish cake! [...] Though it's probably best Fuuko tries cooking something simpler like curry and rice for now.

Ahh I think that would be best... After all, as tasty as starfish cakes are, they do need to eat healthy so they have lots of energy during the draft.

Hmm, but sugar can give you energy too, right? Maybe Fuuko should ask Kotomi-san about what would be the best thing to eat during these sorts of things.

That's true! But it doesn't last as long as it would with healthier foods, I think... I'm sure Kotomi-chan will know for sure though.

We should ask her right now so we know what the answer is! ...Though Fuuko doesn't want to bother Kotomi-san so suddenly. Instead we should ask her at the next, best possible chance!

Hmm... When do you think the next, best possible chance will be though?
