2nd Dango ( ' ' ) [Voice/Action]

[It's been a while since Nagisa did her last entry (which was kind of accidental, anyway), so she struggles a bit to get this one set up. You may even hear her fumbling around with the journal and asking if it was working. Once she realizes that it actually is working, she speaks up.]

U-um, hello! [She's not completely sure how she's supposed to start these...] Um, there's this little girl that I met yesterday, and it was actually her birthday. She was really cute and she didn't have a party, so I wanted to set one up for her... S-so, would anyone be interested in attending or helping? I'm sure she would be really happy! ...Oh! Um, if any of you happen to know her, her name is Kirimi. [A pause.] I think I covered it all...

[She's about to turn off the feed when suddenly-]

--Oh! Riku! Um, I promised I'd get you dangos to let you try them, and I did so.. So I'd like to give them to you sometime! [What is filtering? She does not know. And so the feed shuts off there.]

[Later you may find her wandering around the plaza, doing pretty much nothing. Simply wandering. Shortly after she'll be on her way back to community building three. Feel free to pop up and scare her. ~~Except not really. ...Unless you really want to, I guess.~~]

I met him when he first arrived.

[Once the Spartan feels Nagisa may be a little more comfortable, it kneels -trying to compensate for the two feet of difference between them-.

It leaves its' bag on the ground, and clicks a pair of locks on the back of its' head. And reveals a blonde woman beneath it.]

Chief Petty Officer Daisy SPARTAN-023.

Ohh, I see!

[Oh that's... much better. What a tall woman!]

Is that you're name? Chief Petty Officer Daisy Spartan... [uhh..] Zero... two... six! I'm Nagisa--Nagisa Furukawa!

Go with Daisy, ma'am.

[She didn't expect people to know rank at this point -at least this girl tried adressing her by number-, but the only ones that called her "Chief" were Masaomi Kida and Tomoya himself.

And Nagisa has yet to see her out of armor. Only three inches shorter...]

Sorry for the scare, Ms. Furukawa. I don't like being out of armor.

[She has improved in this matter, though. Because of those damned wings inside her armor.]

[Pesky wings. --Also, just how tall is she? -curious-]

Oh, okay then, Daisy! And it's okay; No need to apologize! I'm sorry for being scared in the first place. [...] So, you know Kirimi also?

[Seven feet inside her armor. Out of it, 6'9''. Girl is the tallest human of Luceti.]

She's a girl me and some friends watch over. I wanted to get her a big teddy bear.

[In this place, Kirimi is her little sister.]

[Suddenly someone apps Shaquille O'Neal.]

Oh really? That's very nice of you! I don't know her much yet, but I'm sure she would really love it!

[..Hmm.] Oh! I know! You could give her one at the party!

[He's a midget. Someone apps Jorge-052, and then there won't be any goddamned sunlight.]

I heard it. Kirimi wanted a party. [She looks at her bag of groceries.] I wanted to make her a batch of brownies, as well, but since we'll be giving her what she wants...

[Seven feet tall killing machine, wiling to make brownies and grab teddy bears for her little sister.]

[..oh dear.]

You could always bring brownies to the party too, though! Since we'll be needing food, anyway. And homemade things are always nice.

[Totally legit.]

I was on the way to make them, ma'am. Maybe I could make another batch, for her party.

[Hm...]

Have you found a gift, Ms. Furukawa?

Oh, okay then!

Umm... Not yet, no. I don't really know what to give her yet.

[Hmm...]

The item shop could have something. Want me to show you, ma'am?

Huh? Umm, if you're not busy and it wouldn't be a bother, could you please?

[She hasn't even been to the item shop yet.]

Of course, Ms. Furukawa.

[The Spartan rises back to her full seven feet, and picks the bag once again. Daisy wonders for an instant about putting the helmet back on, but people new to her were frightened by the suit... Such as Nagisa.

She directs the girl to the item shop. Another well-remembered route.]

[Nagisa just follows Daisy quietly, and rather awkwardly, too. She felt incredibly short. She's constantly trying to look up at Daisy's head, which ended up in looking... very much up. Normally she'd be at least somewhat intimidated, but Daisy seemed really kind, and somehow comforting, too.

When they finally arrive-] So is this the item shop?

[Sometimes the Chief would glance back to Nagisa to see her try to look up to her. On one hand, she would not be surprised by whatever thoughts and fears the small girl could have towards the Spartan. But on the other... she asked her for company.

Even newcomers to Luceti can be accepting.]

Yeah. Anything that's not groceries, clothing, armor, or weapons, can be found here. [She watches the doorframe, one of her biggest enemies.] There's always something here.

Ohhh... wait--Armor and weapons? B-but... why do people need those here?

[WAI SO VIOLENT GAIZ]

[The Spartan turns towards Nagisa when she asks, before she looks back at the store. She takes a moment to think of how to explain this.]

A lot of us are fighters, ma'am. There are dangers here you should know about. For some of us, it's a break from back home, but between the drafts and the Malnosso... It's better to be cautious.

[She crosses the door, making a slight hunch to do so. A wordless gesture to Nagisa to not dwell too much into it. It is simply the nature of Luceti, and the nature of Spartans.]

Oh, right. I forgot about those. [She recalls the conversation she previously had with Malfoy about the drafts. It made sense, really. But as Daisy implied, she decided not to dwell on it. And so she follows her through the door.]

Oh wow! There's a lot of stuff here.

Barring electronics, the item shop has good variety. Sometimes things from our worlds show up in here, though.

[Daisy points at the first point where the two girls can look, the toys section... An area she secretly walked through when no one else was in the store.]

Really? Maybe I'll find something from my world here sometime then! Though I can't really think of anything in particular...

[And now- SO MANY TOOOOOYS. They're all so cute. And fluffy. And fhaskfkafas.]

Ahhh there are so many toys! I have no idea which to get her though. [Hmmm.] Oh! Before I came here someone mentioned over the journal that Kirimi likes things related to fairy tales, princesses, knights, and dragons. Is there anything like that around here...? [Looking around eagerly now whee. These really are all cute.]

There has to be. I only check for gear here, but... There is a lot here.

[She accompanies Nagisa, who seems to have taken steps ahead of the Spartan. Sometimes she grabs things too tall to reach for her, to let the younger girl inspect them. Daisy picks a few plush toys -- And finds what she is looking for.

On the other side, however, she sees a lot of toys related to fairy tales. It's these kinds of toys she also liked as a kid.]

[Every time Daisy had to reach for something for her, Nagisa felt rather embarrassed. But she didn't seem to mind it or anything, so...

When she spots the fairy tale things, she inspects the shelves to find something she thinks would be perfect. ...Well, as good as she can get without knowing much about Kirimi, at least. Dolls seem like something she may already have... Oh! That dragon plushie is cute. You know, in a weird cute dragon kind of way. Of course a dango would be cuter, but alas, there are no dangos here. And that guy mentioned dragons! So Nagisa picks it up and shows it to Daisy.]

U-ummm... Do you think she would like this?

[Daisy crouches, and puts a metallic hand over her chin while looking at the plush creature.]

Kirimi likes cute things. [A brief smile when she gets a silly thought.] Maybe if we got a castle with it.

A castle? Oooh that's a really good idea! Ummm... [She eagerly looks around the shelves again in search for one. After some time, she finds one and pulls it out--Not too big, and not too small to house the dragon plush.] How's this then?
